Okay, since i have windows too (but 10) it wont be different...
i made a false addon folder, just for explain

If you download and unzip an addon, you will see some of this folders:
Aircraft
Ground
Scenery
User
and in your main YSflight folder, you will see this:

(i deleted GL1 and GL2, too glitchy for my pc)
you see there are some folders with the same name, right?
okay, back in the false addon folder, we move the content of the folder ''Aircraft''

double click and you will see something like ???.lst
you have to move all the content of the false aircraft foler to the original aircraft folder, the same with the other folders.
move the false ground folder content to the original ground folder.
you understand?
