    Open Enhanced Grand Tour

A thorough planning! A few comments from me. Trying to chain flybys from a body that you're leaving is a tedious process unless some DV is sacrificed. Aerobraking from an extremely different solar orbit (for example, Jupiter-Earth transfer orbit with Earth as a destination) is quite a...

Thanks for the review and feedbacks! Those recommendations are challenging. Might experiment on those later. It is no clip, the Clipping Cheat is inactive. But I use what I call 'Deploy Clipped' (Dclip). 0.25 movement is novel to me. How to trigger it? Do you mind sharing some thread...

Welp, I kinda forget I submitted this one. Mooncrasher please check this whenever you're ready. Also, just wondering, would this pass the previous and current judging parameters? Thanks!

    IRIS x TTSS

Introducing the expanded version of Altaïr's IRIS, using resources from FRM's TTSS. Perfect for honing your skills before advancing to Realistic Mode! (or you're like me, still playing on mobile and want more challenge beyond Hard Mode :p) In this pack, the solar system is in 1:4 scale. It's...

    Featured Suspected bugs

Does your spacecraft contains a lot of docking port and/or have high complexity? Is the docking port in proximity to each other? I encountered the same problem when I had all those condition on my build. The quick fix for this is to return to main screen, and resume the game again. Kinda...

Trying to explain SFS's planet data parameters

I think I figured it out. I don't know if somebody have explained it somewhere, but I thought to share it here. Turns out the 5th parameter is simpler than the 4th parameter. So I'll explain the former first. The 5th Parameter In principle, the 5th parameter multiplies the output heightmap at...

Trying to explain SFS's planet data parameters

Does anybody know how exactly the 4th parameter works? After experimentations using custom terrains, I find that the 4th parameter is not just multiplied to the 1st parameter (main heightmap data). Thanks

Happens to me too, eventhough the "Prograde" is pre selected, it goes retrograde. One solution I found is to click "Prograde" again. After that, any click will give you the desired direction.

    Solved Planet editing cloud glitch

Yep, it's about the cloud's width value. Handle them like terrains, using this formula: 2*pi*(Rplanet+startHeight)/n Where n is how many the cloud pattern would repeat.

    The Grand Tour!

Thanks! The heating is definitely a challenge. Making the craft stable during reentry and aerobraking depth calibration is quite a work, often with many failure. At the design phase I thought heating would be a big problem, but surprisingly, it's the one on Venus that is. For Mars, it turns out...

    The Grand Tour!

After several Mercury assists, the Lander was satellized on Low Mercury Orbit. It was refueled, then landed on Mercury, and went back to orbit. After refueling and passing the heatshield, the Refueler was deorbited. The Lander escaped Mercury and started chaining gravity assists, aiming Venus...

    The Grand Tour!

It's time to revive this thread by expanding it. Here are my goals and restrictions: • I'm omitting the throttle rule. • I'm doing non-DLC (nDLC) planets only, with nDLC parts and building grid limit. • I'm doing all nDLC challenges at once. So, additional objectives to achieve are are...

    Sorting Through my Attic

Welcome back! Love your builds and stations, they are aesthetically awesome! By the way, Ion Engine still exists in 1.5, and now they use liquid fuel, albeit consuming it differently than regular engines.
