So, everyone wants to make the Earth smaller or bigger, but the spawnpoint stays at the same point, making playing the game with a modified Earth radius impossible. Or does it? I think you already understood what this mod does. It spawns on you on top of Earth, no matter the size of it. This way you can make an extremely small Earth or an extremely big Earth and still be able to play the game!

It seems like the mod is broken. I'll be trying to fix the mod today.

That is why I didn't approve it. Another mod did though, in future I'll make sure they test it. BTW, in upcoming updates, will this present any problems?

Do you know, there has a way to back-up your progress.

Going to the game files and copying all of the save data into a new folder, and then moving it back when you install this.

You just install it.
Make sure to copy your Savefiles to somewhere else, or everything you've build will be gone, reduced to Atoms
