A First Attempt at Realistic Mode

It's been far too long since I've played SFS properly, so I've decided to try out Realistic Mode!

I'm not expecting this to go particularly smoothly, so feel free to come by to laugh and/or give advice ^-^

Task 1: Get a satellite into LEO
I've made this to use, it weighs 14.6T, has 11 parts and I'm genuinely quite surprised at how good it looks (I'm a little artistically challenged)

Yes, I'm using both the clipping and 0.25m offset (surely this wont break the docking ports at allll) glitches, but I don't plan to clip fuel tanks into fuel tanks (doesn't affect DV but can be abused to get a more optimal CoM/aerodynamics), or wheels/RCS together

I've found (through another thread) a real world DV map at Delta V Map and just wanted to check if SFS is realistic enough for this to be a good model to work from when I'm calculating my rocket's DV

Edit for the purpose of compressed messages:

QOL MODS!!!
Other than ANAIS I don't think any of these do anything other than giving information so I'm not concerned about game balance (do lmk if I'm wrong though, I don't want anything that actually properly changes gameplay)

Also, felt I should add the fact that I currently have 16.5 ish hours on Steam SFS - with an hour and a bit of that being today
We shall see how this grows through the world >:3

Ah, a new player joins the realistic mode...
You'll see, this is far more punishing, just performing a Moon landing and return mission is far from being obvious.
I recommend the use of ΔV calculator mod too, this is very useful to know if you have enough fuel for your maneuvers. Especially in realistic where every single drop of fuel counts o_O

Nice, I also recently got into realistic mode since I just bought the game on steam. Of course I almost immediately went into making low mass missions :p.
I look forward to seeing what you create!

I’m pretty sure that the Smart SAS mod does more than just give you info, so maybe uninstall that

Oh thats the one I meant, not ANAIS
It was 1am when I wrote that, and Im out now - Ill check info when I get home to make sure Im not getting things wrong
Smart SAS is automatic direction/RCS control I believe
Im fine with using that personally

No, but you can resize the planets and atmospheres to remake Realistic Mode.
We call that RSS to make the distinction. The closest thing in terms of difficulty to RM we have on mobile is Altaïr's IRIS
