Solved Android SFS Help

#1
Hi there,
Apologies if posting in the wrong thread but after some help.

My son has discovered the game on the Play Store and absolutely loves it. So much so we've upgraded to full version.

However, he is autistic and gets frustrated when things don't go to plan. I've done a bit of searching and seen that there are some files with a BP extension. Do you know if these can be used on Android without rooting the phone and if so, how's it done?

Thanks in advance for any replies or assistance ☺

Yes, they can both be used and modified if you so choose. The .bp files are your saved rockets. You can import .BP files by putting one into the Blueprints Folder. TtTOtW can probably help you with these files more than I can.

Yeah, the .BP's are the various blueprints (change the extension to .txt and you can see the text which the bps run on). There are other people who know more about that though, I'm more of an expert on the quicksave (.qks) files.

You just need to copy the .bp file to the Blueprints folder and restart your game

Route:
Storage - Android - Data - StefMorojna.SpaceflightSimulator - Files - Saving - Blueprints

Also note that these edits can not change thrust, efficiency, amount of fuel in a tank, force of separators etc.

Also post some of the builds here and we can help improve them if you would like!
I think cheats would not be a bad idea for this situation too as they can prevent any frustrating failures (especially from stuff like staging)
Good luck! :)

That's absolutely amazing - thank you. I'll spend some time with him tomorrow as I'm at work all day today trying to find some for him.

Good luck! Also bp editing can be tedious at times, as the code can get a bit annoying, but it is totally worth it when you find it out!
By the way, do you know how to .bp edit?

I recommend you get GuHP20 's full system pack, allows you to explore beyond Jupiter all the way to Pluto, and replaces the vanilla textures with more gorgeous renditions.

I also recommend you to carry out your missions with great organisation, planning and realism. For an example, check out my recent Constellation Saturn mission debrief in the link below, so far this is my most well planned mission and I hope to see others put in as much dedication into their gameplay.
