Conquering the solar system using shuttles

I'm going to try to conquer the solar system in this thread. I've created a world which I'll use to make space stations and ground bases and all that but only with shuttles.
I know I've been doing a lot of things with shuttles lately and I know I may be doing unoriginal things but when I saw everyone else doing it in old threads it looked cool and fun and it is.
I have things planned to be made but I have to be inactive for a few days.

I'm DEFINITELY watching this one.

Ok first things first, setting up in earth orbit. The first station is already planned out, something I should have been doing with other stations
The LS-C3 will be used for a lot of the station modules, now let's assemble it.
The core is sent up with a temporary drone

Payload bay door is a little buggy, but I got lucky.

All these sections are sent up easily because I don't want each to be flooded with fuel.

And the second one.
Also lost a heat shield and..

I've taken the probes and capsule out of the tail, and the next addition is a docking area plus another drone for accidents.

This LS will get finished soon.

Wait did stef make the parachute deploy hight higher?

Testing out the docking area

Now I need to redesign..

Just kidding
The rest of the crew docking coming in a little bit

I remade the crew pods because docking the other ones without probes is agonizing.

The fuel tanks are in,

and the station is finished.

I plan to have two more stations. One for fuel and one for communications.

If you need a more compact drone without clipping you just need one probe, one 2x1m tank, 2 RCS on the sides, and whatever sized docking port you want

Thanks but I like the drones to have a lot of fuel and move a little slow.
Alr, i like using them for my shuttles bc they fit in the generally cramped cargo bay

Can I have the share of the black jet or bp file and version file

Finally back and continuing this, we have our next project. Sitting at a 300x300 orbit will be a communication station for farther travel.
For the core I used the LC-C3 which didn't end so well..
Here is the flight
Screenshot_20220827-013852.png

Ah, the shuttle hangs on to the booster by one docking port.

Core reveal and deployment

Screenshot_20220827-014450.png

Unfortunately thanks to my genius engineering and totally not little effort the shuttle spun out during reentry and split in two, there were no survivors.
Screenshot_20220827-015856.png

For the sake of the crew the LC-C2 will be used.

Forgot to say in first post, everything will be no clip and not bp edited. I know this can be implied by the above posts

Originally was gonna finish the comms station but plans changed. I want to scrap it but instead of de-orbiting it, I will crash it into the moon.
Using my Ugly Pug shuttle, I will bring a transfer stage to the station to smash it into the moon. Then the shuttle will stay at the multi purpose station.
Screenshot_20230311-210022.png

Screenshot_20230311-210159.png
Screenshot_20230311-210219.png

You might notice that the shuttle has 80% fuel left, that was unintentional but turned out to be a good thing. Now we follow bread crumbs
Screenshot_20230311-210431.png

Screenshot_20230311-210522.png

Screenshot_20230311-210648.png

The drone takes the transfer stage from the cargo pay and lets it float near the bottom of the station, so it can then dock to the station and move the whole thing to dock the the transfer stage.
Screenshot_20230311-210736.png
Screenshot_20230311-210757.png

Now the the Pug will dock to this station and stay there for now.
Screenshot_20230311-210901.png

More bread crumbs
Screenshot_20230311-210954.png
Screenshot_20230311-211142.png
Screenshot_20230311-211306.png

The comms station sets a course for a direct shot into the moon, it will use all the fuel in the station to give more velocity for a more deadly hit, who doesn't want that?
Screenshot_20230311-211731.png

Screenshot_20230311-211754.png

Screenshot_20230311-212004.png

Screenshot_20230311-212019.png

...3....2...1
Screenshot_20230311-212051.png

BOOM
The stations smashes into the ground destroying it's middle section and leaving the ends to roll around.
Screenshot_20230311-212106.png

One end spins out of control as the reaction wheel systems start glitching and it completely shreds itself.

As for the end inside the ground, it has decided to bore a tunnel and go mining for some ore!

8.4km into the ground it rests, to be eaten by the kraken

A new comms station will be built, because the last one doesn't fit or want to work with my new shuttles. Here is the blueprint for what it was supposed to be:
