Solved Fairing aerodynamics bug

When you build something like below with the fairing and then detach it - your rocket becomes almost uncontrollable on the turns.
If you build the same without the fairing - you have no issues.

Ah, true. Another bug from that broken drag system...

I've made some tests, and apparently it only happens when the fairings are attached to the probe, and when you detach them.
For example, it doesn't happen to that rocket:

But it does with that one, once fairings are detached:

Sadly there's not much we can do about it, hopefully this will be fixed on 1.5.

Sadly there's not much we can do about it, hopefully this will be fixed on 1.5.
For me it happened on both types.

I remade a test, it seems you're right... I don't know what I missed on my first test... :rolleyes:

Though both rocket seems affected differently. At least the one where the fairing is attached to the fuel tank is stable after fairing separation. The other one goes completely mad o_O

I think it is because when you launch a rocket, at first, the atmospheric drag bits do not render, but opening the Fairing updates it and allows it to render.
