Rule 1,
Respect one another equally. Being rude to other users will not be tolerated. General swearing is permitted, but not directed at any user.

Rule 2,
You are solely responsible for your account. Any access to your account is your responsibility.

Rule 3,
Spam will not be tolerated, including but in no way limited to:
Repeating the same or similar threads/posts | Nonsensical messages or emoji | Constantly trying to recruit people to vote on reddit, subscribe on youtube, or join a clan/discord. | Unnecessary pinging of the staff team. | Uncondensed posts (3 or more). | Necroposting, or "the art of reviving dead threads, without contributing anything to them".
These may apply to PM/DM as well.

Rule 4,
Racism, sexism, NSFW content, harassment, and threats of physical violence (this is not an exhaustive list) are strictly disallowed, and in some cases may result in an immediate ban. Illegal activity is also not permitted. All this also applies to PM/DM.

Rule 5,
Impersonation of users or staff members are grounds for an immediate ban.

Rule 6,
Keep category specific things in the right place. Moderators may move or delete content to comply with this rule. Ask if you’re not sure.

Rule 7,
Piracy (SFS or other media) is not up for discussion.

Rule 8,
Excessive low effort posts and behaviour may lead to sanctions. The forum is a small community, we kindly encourage you to keep it clean and contribute to it. Thank you.

Rule 9,
Respect property rights. The SFS community is largely based on sharing (blueprints, planet packs, mods...), but some good practices prevail: you are allowed to modify and/or repost any content (from the forum or any other community), but as a courtesy please credit the original author in each case. Attempts at deliberate misappropriation will be sanctioned.

Rule 10,
Use your common sense. If you need to think about whether it's against the rules, it probably is. Don't be the guy who makes the staff add or modify the rules.

Rule 11,
The application and enforcement of these rules are at the sole discretion of the acting moderator or moderating team. If you disagree with the actions of the staff, contact an administrator. Administrators have the final judgement on all cases.

Notes:
  • By "Dead Threads" we mean threads that have been unactive for at least 1 month.

  • What we understand by "Low Effort":
Low effort content is content that is typically created quickly and does not contribute to a discussion. This content oftenly restates information rather than adding to the discussion.
  • What we understand as "Behaviour":
Behaviour (or behavior) is what a person does or how it acts.
