If you had a .bp saved that had ion in it, you can still use them.

The thrust is the same as it was in 1.4 (I think) but here's the catch: they don't need any electricity! That basically means they are even more efficient than before!

Ah, I used to use that same shape for my ion probes too.

Ya. I found a glitch.
I was on the verge of docking with a downed ship on Ganymede to attempt recovery of hundreds of tons of fuel. I conducted dozens of sims to perfect the final maneuver.
V1.5 auto updated and I completely lost all missions. Curse you CodeGods!
I don't see any way of recovering my old missions.

Hmm, that is weird. Can you load a Quicksave?

Seek and ye shall find.
When I first opened 1.5 the quicksave cursor arrows weren't visible and the oldest saves are shown first.

Does the Acarii Drive (or Perpetual Motion Machine as I like to call it) still work? I'd try myself but I don't remember how to make one

Sometimes open the app up it loses the expansion and when I restart the app I get it back

That's a known bug indeed. However, now you can drag them and reorder them as you like, so there is a way to fix it yourself. Well, if you don't have a quadrillion of saves at least

Showing your disappointment is one thing, but this is disrespect. What if you tried to code your own app, and then we seek for bugs, to see how many we can find? You'll see if that's an easy job.

Have they really vanished?! Is it just that they don't show ingame or have they been deleted from your file system? If they really were deleted reinstalling won't help anyway

Maybe try looking in the game files. They're probably just in a different place
