Is the AWM a real gun?

Yeah, it stands for Arctic Warfare Magnum, a British sniper rifle (Designated as the L115) chambered in .300 Winchester Magnum (7.62x67mm) (L115A1) or .338 Lapua Magnum (8.58×70mm) (L115A3). The .338 LM is also unofficially known as the AWSM (Arctic Warfare Super Magnum)

-The manufacturer is owned by Colt but it is not an American rifle
-Green furniture is the unique part

Same problem. I know of 3 different nations that use this particular brand of 'AR' rifle. 2 of them are very, very similar in that they use the same sighting unit. There are all black versions as well.
