Meet Diamant BP4. The French satellite launch vehicle that was the first non-American, non-Russian SLV. Fundamentally the establishment of the ESA before there was the ESA. 21.6m tall, 1.34m in diameter excluding its fins. Let's give it a whirl, shall we?

I did this in realistic because in normal mode you don't even stage before reaching orbit. In realistic it's spot-on.

Bonsoir, ciel étoilé!

The two upper stages are solid motors, so no switching off. I forgot to fill the satellite's tank, but that's fine for purposes of this demo. Altie, I hope you like this, because I loved this!

Mooncrasher I have a few missions awaiting approval :) no hurry, just notifying you.
Cool little rokit, i remember making Diamant myself with the help of Marmilo

Good old times when I was the one trying to get you to bp edit...
Now it's kinda flipped, as I'm focusing on noclip vanilla

Basically: "Let's pretend this is 1.4" Truly, editing was the exception back then rather than the rule. Because editing generally caused such havoc in rocket functionality that it was simply not worth the investment of time and effort.

... go. Go forget gravity.
I can’t be bothered to look at the recreation bc that is not in the amount of time i have but the shuttle looks good, i think you need to include a bp photo of atlas though
Oh I must have forgotten. Coming up.

Edit:

Here we go.
Badge given for shuttle and atlas, I'll take a look at recreation when I can get on PC.

Ah, true.
Looking at it again, there's no picture of second flight payload deployment. But I'm sure it was able to occur, lol. Badge given.

I remember the time when i thought i'll never get into it... What a fool i was, but it made sense for me to think this way, clipping made bp editing much much easier... It made everything much much easier lol

Dangit... Thanks for that. Yeah I really assumed that since the original parameters were in every way identical to those of the relaunch, there's no point posting that detail.

Well, we do leave again, so that makes this an assist rather than a capture. only took off 350-ish m/s... you know me, right? anything for one more gravity assist XD

hmm, the overall height is correct, but it seems as though you gave too much length to the first stage, and not enough to the second stage?
I'd say that the top of the first stage ought to be at least a meter lower (move that length to the second stage).

Here's what I used, as you can see that 2nd stage is short, and it just has a lot of interstage length beneath it.

Hmm, fair enough. :) Looks like it's all in order according to that, badge granted.
