Open i downloaded on Mac but cannot play

i downloaded the game on mac, extracted it and when i try it open it it says "The application "SFS1.35" can't be opened" please help

No, the PC 1.35 is specifically a Windows port. Won't work on a Mac unless you do some stuff and make it dual boot Windows. I won't go into that here, not the place, and I don't have the XP to comment on such topic.
