TtTOtW I've taken two engines off the shuttle and it can reach LEO at full load (200t) with 35% fuel remaining.

As for fuel tanks clipped into the fairings, it's only a two wide edited tank and the fairing size is the maximum unedited.

What's the launch TWR with and without the two engines taken off?

Now it is far more useful, nice upgrade. Good job so far dude.
Thank you! From my testing (turning on zero-g, turning off drag and flying straight up until fuel ran out) the shuttle has roughly 2000m/s of Δv. fully loaded, that's with the current changes. That's more than enough to get to Jupiter or Saturn with VEEGA, and if I aerobrake it'll save lots more fuel.

1450m/s gets you a complete Jovian flyby tour and a safe landing back on Earth if you're smart, starting in LEO.

Got it. I think with a refuel the shuttle can go anywhere and come back, starting in LEO and using VEEGA. I'll watch your video on the 1.5 version of the technique.

Not bad, right on the brink of a Class A shuttle on my scale. 270 would get you that distinction. That said... you have some extra fuel left there... This might be a Class A shuttle after all. Perhaps all that is lacking is a better launch profile?

Here's a custom capsule I made. It has miniature landing legs, an engine, fuel, docking port and parachute.

TtTOtW Here's the start of my new space station, gonna send this one off to either Jupiter or Saturn.

The core of the core (module) is a nuclear reactor, though I'm not entirely sure how you would cool that in space. Anybody who knows how, please enlighten me.

It's time to add the solar arrays/radiators.

The struts, in addition to being struts, will also act as radiators for the nuclear reactor.

Also, for the rest of the station, it will likely look similar to my Team Frontier entry, though I will add an engine module for interplanetary travel.

Next up, beams. You can never have too many beams.
