hello all, if you’ve seen my previous posts you probably know I have been known to abuse stretched ions. But today I fix that by using squished fuel tanks to make self contained ion engines. Each engine produces .38 tons of thrust. But each engine only takes up a 1 x 2 area. So for the same amount of space a frontier engine takes up, you get… 5.32 tons of thrust. Ok admittedly this is not the best engine but it works and has immense efficiency and if the challenges allowed ions this could be very useful. https://sharing.spaceflightsimulator.app/rocket/nuGU0LyzEe6LdUVkBXBP0w

Yea but I do think that even if you were able to use ion’s you would probably still have to make a rocket. (I’m unsure if you can use blueprints in challenges so if I’m wrong croocet me pls, thx)

Most challenges just ban ions outright so it doesn’t matter too much
