Self contained ion engine + SSTO

hello all, if you’ve seen my previous posts you probably know I have been known to abuse stretched ions. But today I fix that by using squished fuel tanks to make self contained ion engines. Each engine produces .38 tons of thrust. But each engine only takes up a 1 x 2 area. So for the same amount of space a frontier engine takes up, you get… 5.32 tons of thrust. Yea but I do think that even if you were able to use ion’s you would probably still have to make a rocket. (I’m unsure if you can use blueprints in challenges so if I’m wrong croocet me pls, thx)

Most challenges just ban ions outright so it doesn’t matter too much
