Alright people!

No UI overhaul, I think the one I already have looks good.
Here is the program: SFSMDB (Spaceflight Simulator Mod Database by JcBoi

And, here's instructions on how to set it up.

1: Download it from Itch.Io

2: Double click to run it. (the program is meant for windows, but it will run on windows/linux if you use wine.)

3: Click on "Select Mod Folder Location"

4: In the file selector that opens up, navigate to your SFS Mods folder, for me it's at F:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Spaceflight Simulator\Spaceflight Simulator Game\Mods, but it will vary per person.

5: Select the mod you want to 'install'

6: Click "Install"

Please note: No files are actually installed, this is just a demo for y'all to get the hang of the UI.

Special thanks to Mario Hobbs for the app icon.

Altaïr could you rename this to SFSMDB Development Thread or something like that because V1.0 is coming out soon and I don't want people to go through 3 walls of text to get to the download.

Oh, sorry I didn't get the ping notification.
I gave you the modder badge, though you didn't release a mod properly said, but this will give you edition rights over this thread to allow you to update it as you wish.

I'll remove the modder role for now, don't hesitate to ping me to get it back if you finally finish it JcBoi_SFS

please dont i hate installing mods manually
Honestly it's quite simple. It just needs a few minutes to understand how it works, then it's just a matter of a few clicks.

Ok. I got the source code! Would it be worth it to make SFSMDB Open source? First priority is gonna be having the program remember where your mods folder is. Then, I am going to work on actually having installable mods, then after that, I will make Alpha2501 Public. After that, I'm gonna expand the database.

SFSMI has 95 mods total from all the texture packs, part packs and mods, you could just clone/fork that and have every mod on the forum (except for all the texture packs) if you use it give credit to the github

edit: since when could i edit within 20 minutes
