Here I will post some varies missions like return missions, orbiting planets, landings, or stations.

First I will post a Venus flyby and return.

Looks interesting :)

Your stages are very big, don't hesitate to split your rocket into more stages to gain efficiency. For example this is your last stage:
Spaceflight Simulator_2022-02-11-06-33-09.jpg

Instead you could use this setup:
Spaceflight Simulator_2022-02-11-06-36-45.jpg
It has practically the same capacity (4388 m/s instead of 4434 m/s) for half the weight, which means you can send it with a smaller rocket.

In this mission I send a satellite with a thruster to low mars orbit and another to land on the surface.

I had a lot of fuel left which makes me wish I made a smaller 3rd stage but whatever, so I did a flyby of Phobos and Deimos.

Here is where I put the orbital satellite in low mars orbit.

That's a much better launcher, good job :)

And yes, ion engines really give a crazy amount of delta-V.

I think you can improve your flight technique by bending your trajectory earlier. The game gives you some hints about your incidence of flight:
Screenshot_20220212-222505.png
The number on the right tells you the angle of incidence you should aim for. At that stage you should be much closer from the horizontal.

I made a tutorial covering this part recently:
Voyager quest: tutorial

It's about the Voyager quest, a challenge from team Frontier, but that's precisely about efficiency. That may help you.

I've been looking at the tutorial and it is very helpful. I tried bending my trajectory early like you did in the video and I'm having trouble trying to bend early but not burn up.
The way I do it in the video is extreme, I was close from burning up myself. Usually I start bending my trajectory when I'm hitting 100 m/s, and I do it gradually.

I think I just realized what I'm doing wrong, when I orbit I have a little bit of fuel left in the frontier engine stage and I was getting close escape velocity but I wasn't making it. I did one burn but earlier in earth orbit than my other attempts and just completed the challenge. Going to try again with screenshots.

Fixed an old starship kind of rocket I built that would destroy itself due to engine heating in the new update. It's really hard to have a nice looking rocket that can carry large payloads without stretched engines.

For now and later builds if anyone wants a bp of something I most likely have it saved so just ask.

Experimented with fairings for a shuttle I'm building and the detached edges/fragment part in a bp and so far I have this cargo bay.

I'm not that good at designing shuttles rn, this was my last attempt.

I could get pretty far with this, I might use the finished version to build leo stations, 129 tons of payload. Once I get a booster implemented I think it will be pretty reliable.

Got the engines in a good place so now it won't turn right by itself. Booster will be under the shuttle so I don't need to deal with flipping to the left.
