This is my first ever time messing around with bp editing so I hope you enjoy.

Sounding Rocket includes a recoverable probe and custom launch pad. I also have never seen a sounding rocket in sfs before.

*Please note that rocket is not fully fueled and that parachutes can be deployed in staging.

Hey not a bad looking experiment. Since stretching the engine is an act of experimentation I'll consider it fine. It is not good as common practice though. Is acceptable in replicas for the sake of aesthetics.

In the future would it be acceptable to scale down down an engine and not stretch it.

Scaling down is actually a deficit since mass does not change. So that is accepted since it increases the challenge dynamically. Stretching has the opposite effect and is thus not accepted aside from replicas.
