Beautiful landscapes and ASReG isn't everything South Africa can boast of; however, I can honestly say that I haven't heard about this research group before. But I know that South Africa can join the ranks of well-known satellite imagery manufacturers soon. Dragonfly Aerospace is a South African imagery producer that was emerged from Space Advisory Company in 2020. Btw, they plan to launch their first satellite soon; that's why I have high hopes for South Africa. Who knows, perhaps, they join the space race soon.
