But finally with some rolling about the magnetism is overcome

I done it again, those light parts, it shot off, rotated and landed in the Hopper backwards

I should have selected the Hopper to fling it out rather than trying to fish it out

Racing out of orbit at about 8m/s, I blast back into orbit under RCS power, it occurs that orbital docking is maybe not the quickest route to recovering the Hopper
