Hello there! Just wanted to show my new Starship design I have been working on the past few days.

There is still work to be done, but this current version has all the basic stuff and such. That’s it for now, just keeping it short and simple.

Alright, I have been doing some development and here is where the project currently stands.

The full stack of Superheavy and Starship is complete:

Launching can be a little bit complicated in that the Starship’s tanks need to be emptied to 50% before launch. In doing so, it can go orbital with 40% left in the tanks.

Launch and orbit:

From this point the first Starship parks and awaits the tanker. The tanker variant of Starship is almost identical to the regular version except for some re-colors on some of the parts, as well as being mirrored to the regular version. There is also some slight modifications with fuel loads, but I won’t go into that right now.

Both of these craft dock in LEO, and the tanker transfers all but about ten percent of its fuel into the main ship, filling the main ship up to 75% fuel load.

From there the tanker can go and land back in Earth. Both variants are capable of reentry and landing with 10% fuel remaining. The next image shows the use of one of the two main reentry thrusters which are used for maintaining stability and orientation during reentry and landing.

This mission was just able to squeeze out a landing with .5% remaining in the tanks.

Finally the main Starship can proceed to lunar orbit, deploy its solar array, and rendezvous with my lunar space station (which is currently under development and will be revealed at a later date)

First cargo mission to Mars has landed! This mission was my first interplanetary mission of 1.5 not sure why I have put it off for so long, but it is what it is. I have to say, the new ambient lighting system for planets is pretty impressive. There is a really nice reddish hue within the Martian SOI.

This mission did not involve a tanker, so no refueling. Even without it, I still had to take her out for a quick spin past Deimos and Phobos to burn off some extra fuel before landing. Landing took two attempts, and was also my first look at the new velocity indicator arrows in 1.5. The first touchdown was on a hill with a steep incline, so a short hop was necessary to reach flat ground. This is where the final images were taken.

:eek::eek::eek:
Maybe you should check for paint scratches on your ship after such a low fly-by.
Yeah, I had to reload a quick save because I left the solar array open and it hit the ground.

Just messing around seeing what a scale Starship looks like, well, just the super heavy stage 1:

This is 4m short according to wiki info, though it looks longer than any ‘photo’ I can find,
But mostly posting cuz that color scheme just looks right by me for making an XXL stage
...TWR is 1.31 :p

Artistic freedom may have something to do with general representations' proportions.

Well, let’s see how it all goes...

A Starhopper, might have rather put 3 engines hidden in a fairing, but there it is

And there it is, ready for boarding damn near anywhere by the looks of it, definitely overpowered
