This is my second entry for Team hawk: A mission to Ganymede!!!

Here is my rocket. Two stages, with two boosters. On top of it, my spaceship, with a pair of solar pannels, an antenna, and a lander. More than enough to reach Jupiter:

Now the launch up to Earth orbit:

Ok, Now I burn my second stage to get to Jupiter. I do it in a way so that my "perijovian" coincides, more or less, with the orbit of ganymede:

When I get the closest to Jupiter, I deccelerate enough to get in a very eliptic jupiter orbit, with the perihelion just in Ganymede orbit. Then I slightly modify it until I get un an encounter trajectory with Ganymede.

Ok. During my encounter with Ganymede, I use my engine to get into a stable orbit around it. Then my lander separates and lands. Touchdown!!!

Time to leave. I go back to orbit, and rendevouz with the main ship. After that, I detach the useless parts of the lander, and keep the capsule:

I burn most of my remaining fuel to get a trajectory towards Earth:

After a long trip, I burn whatever fuel is left in my tanks to brake as much as possible before entering Earth orbit, as I have a very fast relative speed:

Happend that I was too conservative and entered in a too high trajectory, so I didn't aerobrake enough to land in my first pass through Earth's atmosphere. Instead, I bounced back to space, but I luckily had braked enough to get into an Earth orbit. So I only had to wait until I reentered a second time, and landed safely:

That's all. My capsule is a little bit scorched, but... Mission accomplished!

I'll look at your replica again this weekend.
