Hey, we've seen many upgrades and different versions of the planets in our Solar System, but, Hey, what about the Sun! We haven't seen many upgrades to the Sun...

So... How's this

I only have two more things to Add:
The gradient for the atmosphere was made by BANDWITH, So credits to him. And, I rescaled the atmosphere to prevent the 10 000 m/'s glitch. It is now 2500 km high

Those are enhanced color ultraviolet images. The real color of the sun is don’t look at the sun.

There's lots of different spectrums to view the sun in, depending on what you're looking for.

I personally like the amber one (centre upper left in image), but they're all cool! I like the traditional fire-y red one that The Blazer used for this upgrade.

Sol being a yellow star is a common misconception. Not sure where the word 'yellow dwarf' came from, but Sol is a G2V-type star. It's pretty much white in actuality.

Yeah, those are, well, inaccurate.

Here, have a Planckian Locus:

Sol's temperature is 5,778 K, it looks pretty close to white.
