While this update doesn't add many new parts, this might be my favorite update yet. Overhauled nearly every part on the Saturn V stack and Apollo Spacecraft!

Saturn V Overhaul

s-ii gif.gif

With this update, I once again made a ton of realism improvements. Showcased here is a gif rotating through the S-IIs of v1.0, and the two alternates for v1.2.
Each change will be explained later, but here's a quick visual comparison.

Texture & Modeling Updates

Side-by-side comparison of v1.1 and v1.2

Nearly every single part for the Saturn V and CSM have been updated. Textures have been redrawn and models redone, its taken a while, but I think it's worth it! Every part looks better than before. Here's one of my favorite part remodels, the Instrument Unit!

Interior views have also been added for several parts. As of now, interiors have only been added for the Saturn V, but I and IB will get them too, eventually.

New Functions

Several functions and toggles have also been added to the parts.

An insulation toggle has been added to the F-1 engine.

A toggle has also been added to switch between different S-II insulation styles. The left was used for flights through Apollo 12, and 13 onwards used the insulation on the right.

Docking probe jettison functionality has also been added. To undock, click the docking probe. To jettison it instead, activate it from the staging menu.

With the help of Dani0105, the LES has also become far more accurate. Clicking the LES will trigger an abort, automatically detaching pulling the CM away from the stack. Clicking again will trigger the jettison motors, and the LES will shoot off while automatically separating your forward heat shield and docking probe, leaving your parachute bay exposed. To jettison your LES for a nominal launch, activate it through staging.

SM RCS has also gotten much easier to use, and the movement has been totally redone!

I don't like typing, so I'll leave it off here. Please watch the update release video, it has a couple more patch notes listed there.

With 24 new parts and 47 new textures, every Apollo-Saturn launch can now be recreated! Introducing the Saturn I and IB!
----------------------------------------------
Saturn I
Arguably the least known of the Saturn family, the Saturn I is a rather modest and odd-looking rocket. But with the 1964 launch of SA-5 commonly being identified as the turning point of the Space Race, the Saturn I deserves to be remembered.

The inert S-IV/S-V boilerplate stages feature toggles for motion targets and interstage greebling. The H-1 engines, with gimballing/non-gimballing variants are also introduced.

Notable additions for the Saturn I Block II include the history-rich RL10 engines, the Pegasus micrometeoroid detection satellite, and 2 new boilerplate models of the Apollo Spacecraft.

Saturn IB
Seen by many as the older brother of the Saturn V, the Saturn IB is just as iconic to spaceflight enthusiasts as the Saturn V is. It would not be an Apollo pack without it.

Notable additions include several new variants for the Apollo Spacecrafts, a toggleable cone for the Forward Heat Shield, and a hinged SLA.

Visual Overhaul!
With this update, I added a ton of new textures. I'll show you.

5 new variants for the CSM have been added, AS-201/202/Apollo 6, Apollo 4/1, Apollo 7, Generic Apollo, and Skylab 2/3/4.

Mission-specific LMs have also been added! Apollo 5, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15/16/17! Descent stage variants are changed via skins, while the ascent stage pyromarking is a toggle in the part settings. Legless landing gear for Apollo 5 have also been added.

In addition to new variants, I've also gone back and redone some of my old models/plumes/textures. Several more changes are showcased in the video, but here's one of my favorites, the S-II engine base.

That's about it for this update. This took extremely long, but was incredibly rewarding to complete. See you next update for the Saturn V Skylab and Little Joe 2!

you are supposed to put it in the custom Assets folder and the subfolder parts of the part pack, but also a 2nd loader is needed called Parts Loader which is in BETA and is closed for being full

Back on topic please. This is brioche's thread, in which he released an amazing mod, it's not a suitable place for casual chatting.

If you want to chat, please create your own thread, or go to the off-topic thread.

So I downloaded it and did everything, put in in SFS folder, then SFS data folder, then the Custom Assets>Parts folder which all didn't work, can anyone help me?
