Alright, I have been doing some development and here is where the project currently stands.
The full stack of Superheavy and Starship is complete:
Launching can be a little bit complicated in that the Starship’s tanks need to be emptied to 50% before launch. In doing so, it can go orbital with 40% left in the tanks.
Launch and orbit:
From this point the first Starship parks and awaits the tanker. The tanker variant of Starship is almost identical to the regular version except for some re-colors on some of the parts, as well as being mirrored to the regular version. There is also some slight modifications with fuel loads, but I won’t go into that right now.
Both of these craft dock in LEO, and the tanker transfers all but about ten percent of its fuel into the main ship, filling the main ship up to 75% fuel load.
From there the tanker can go and land back in Earth. Both variants are capable of reentry and landing with 10% fuel remaining. The next image shows the use of one of the two main reentry thrusters which are used for maintaining stability and orientation during reentry and landing.
This mission was just able to squeeze out a landing with .5% remaining in the tanks.
Finally the main Starship can proceed to lunar orbit, deploy its solar array, and rendezvous with my lunar space station (which is currently under development and will be revealed at a later date)
