Engine heat eh? I actually think it counts as a discarded stage so you should be fine on this one.

If it's about the first stage being destroyed by the second stage's exhaust it's fine, it's a dumped stage at that stage.

I don't see how it's advantageous, each of those tanks weighs 50 tons:

The normal fuel tank is denser. Unless I missed something?

Yeah, I'm assuming based on my mostly RP-1 based knowledge that normal tabks are meant to be isogrid and Atlas is balloon.
