Bugged Re-entry?

For some reason, the re-entry on steam is like it was before the re-entry update (no flame effects and no heating). Was this intentional or is it just a bug? If this can be fixed, then how do I fix it?

I don't have that bug myself, but I know somebody that had it. Can you confirm your version is 1.5.9.8? Do you play with mods? If yes, please try again after disabling all mods.

Wait, I found the problem. That's the gliding heat shield mod, the update apparently broke it. I'll fix it, until then you'll have to deactivate it in the mod loader.
