Hello,
i just finished and present the ZETA generation Copernicus starship!
The Copernicus-class starship was the first starship of the BETA generation. Its history dates back to a year and a half ago, when I started experimenting with the current design of spaceships. It was the first ship whose integral part became a hollow shell instead of empty tanks representing the ship's hull.
In the BETA and GAMA generation, it used to be part of other starships named after famous astronomers, for example the smaller sister spaceship called Hubble.
Copernicus was modified over time and became part of each successive generation of ships. Now the time has come for it to stand alongside the Masaryk class as part of the ZETA generation of starships.
Since the Copernicus class was designed from the beginning to operate with unlimited fuel, it had to undergo strong modifications this time. It is smaller and wider than the previous generation. The head section has been modified and is now not detachable, but contains two "hangars" for smaller rovers and other small craft. As with the Masaryk class, the refueling nozzle is located on the bow.
There are four covered ports on the sides of the spaceship. Weapon systems are compatible.
Copernicus is equipped with Frontier engines for more economical space travel.
