Help loading blueprints

hi I'm new to the game (I just got a satellite to the moon) and I'm trying to figure out how to use blueprints because whenever I put the txt files in the blueprints folder they dont show up in game

It should not be put inside the blueprint folder you should create a folder name X inside the blueprint folder and put your blueprint txt and version txt inside the folder X

Or try (for example) blueprint.txt to blueprint.bp

when I change it to a .BP file do I still need the version file?

Yeah, change Blueprint.txt to Blueprint.bp, and you don’t even need the Version.txt file.
