The way I do a quick dock in ~1 orbit is launch when the craft you intend to rendezvous with is almost above you at launch. There are multiple ways to quickly dock, but this is how I do it.

That depends so much con the height of the target. For example, for a target in a 30-35 km circular órbit I usually launch when the target is directly west of the launchpad
