How do you think the electricity system will be overhauled?

I think cables to connect the electrical grid of colonies may be added or even new solar panels, like ones that are much smaller and don't fold for smaller spacecrafts.

Maybe some non electrical parts may have a little bit of electricity in them like capsules so that old designs still work, maybe the secret "array" texture may get a function.

No idea, it might be more about how it is stored. Before it was 100% shared, that might change to a system more alike fuel storage
