So I'm working on my starship and the thing that separates it from the rest is that it's non dlc and has color, but no dlc means no cheats expansion, I tried a video by earth-chan but the heat shield just falls off, even when it doesn't fall off the heat shield doesn't shield from the the heat the heat shield is supposed to be on the black part. Can someone help?

Maybe because it wasn't attached to the fuel tank? Try moving it a bit to the left. If it attached but too thin for it to protect the ship, make it thicker (but not much).

I am ashamed that I didn't think about that:(, but thanks!

Ok, thanks! Also quick question, is there a super duper awesome formula for calculating angles in sfs?
Angles? You just do either 45 or 20 degree angle on reentry

You can opted to use higher ones if you have some pesky heat intrusions.

Not the angle I'm looking for, but still really helpful!

I don't know any formula for this, but it would probably be a nightmare due to all possibilities offered by fairing adaptations.

Instead you can use a protractor application in practice to know any angle with a good precision:

Yes, it's simply called "protractor".
It's this one, though the name is in french for me:

Just search "protractor" on the play store, and you will find it, as well as many others.
