Light SSTO?

Money is running low, but we need to get into orbit for an experiment. Sadly, all decouplers and docking ports are too expensive. We have only two engines and some fuel tanks left.

Who makes the lightest SSTO which reaches a stable orbit, is the winner.

Rules:
No cheats, of course...
No bugs
Spacecraft must have capsule and a parachute
It needs to come back and land softly
Fairings are allowed
Electric stuff can also be used (ions, RTGs, batteries, solar panles)

As in a single stage to orbit? Or a plane..

I made a try, here is my attempt:

Then, the difficult part, deorbiting the ship without crashing (I could have restarted the game to have more drag, but I considered that technique glitchy):

Mission accomplished!
Total weight is 73 tons:

Ever since I applied real world solar system numbers into the game files, SSTOs can't work for shit no more.
