No, lol. Easy to make it landable, but I was saving mass. This is in 1:1 hard mode so I wasn't taking chances.

Such a beauty! Gives me plenty of flashbacks to the early forum days.

Also makes me stop to actually look at the Steam UI. It definitely looks sharp!

Back to its roots... That there is Discovery Compact. The distant descendant of SCS. This model is called Ankabut. Discovery was the direct descendant of SCS Amber. And this is returning to where Discovery started. See, I could at the time no longer refine or improve the performance of SCS, so I had to shed her skin to keep her spirit of progress. That was D1. Now D2 and D3 have dwarfed the original shedded shell that once held such aspirations as beating the Jupiter 10000 glitch. The smaller package has a higher dry mass ratio, naturally, but I wanted that liveliness and spark back. That resulted in Discovery Compact. Half the size, twice the ambition!
