Jordan Filz inspired me to make a cardboard airplane so here is progress stuff if anyone cares


A wing a made it generates lift but it s not stable enough to fly

This is a “repaired” version of it it could fly ok but not enough lift and no aoa was added the stabilizer came off at the 3 flight

The aerodynamics of that is a bit wacky

I know the hard part was making tape stick and fitting the wings on I understand the majority of making an airplane i just don’t add roll yaw or pitch stabilization so it went well you know how

Maybe use kebab sticks or something else as struts to hold the wings on, also I use hot glue it works a lot better, wood glue works really well for this stuff though

Just use whatever you have at home! Most of the stuff I use is from home. Maybe except for the craft glue i use for paper mache

I am I making a better one now it looks much better

it suffered from not enough lift and a bad wing attachment but survive the rough landing enough to add more wings and fix the problem

I would test it but it’s too big for my hall and the ground is still covered in snow
