Sorry for the negative vote. I didn't mean to discourage multiplayer feature, but there are a few problems that will appear in multiplayer such as the world being full, bugs ,and network interference, but all of that is manageable.
The only thing concerning me so far is trolling. You dont want to build a space station then having it destroyed by someone's debris accidentally. you can't ban them for throwing debris, but you cant also set everything in passive mode because it will simply render docking useless. Also what if someone acctually intent to troll using their debris but they say it's an accident ?

Make a Private room with friends you could trust, like have them enter a password or something , I don’t want anyone I don’t know on my game

Welp, that could be useful but that wont stop the problem.
what about disabling collision on debris ?, but that would mean that trolling can be achieved by throwing probes.
But i think trolling can be solved by adding an all out phoenix wright minigame where you can settle problems like adults.

I don't think a multiplayer feature would be fun at all. You'd just do the same things in singeplayer but just with a chat and some tags..
Trolling is probably a thing that can be achieved by implementing multiplayer so yes, please Stef; don't add it.

What do you mean ? It will be fun, you can build space stations together, build towers, race to the moon, and all the things you cant do without the help from other players

(And i would really like to see the phoenix wright troll solving minigame)

- Manage timewarping with 10+ players
- Crash results in restart
- What's the point in multiplayer, it costs alot of money to run a server for this size.

i dont think this is what ANYONE wants as multiplayer
obviously sfs wont have dedicated servers so this wont be an issue, multiplayer more in the sense of like hosting local servers from your phone, similar to the nintendo DS download game - you simply send the data of position and other properties of each others rockets to each others screens to render it and have crashes or any special events regarding the properties (like fuel running out or landing) be calculated on the hosters client and sent to the others. thats the simplest solution from what i can tell

I agree with this issue but they would probably include private servers if they added multiplayer

Well, for now i would like to have a simple multiplayer like maybe a rocket sharing section, or maybe moving the entire sfs discussion forum in-game.
I think an all out multiplayer is just way too soon considering this game is pretty new

You could have it as each player has a spot on earth where the player can launch rockets, when they click clear debris it only clears there debris and when they time warp it only time warps there rocket

thats impossible though with the timewarp. when you timewarp the planets also move faster around the sun and the moons faster around the planets. you cant just speed up only your rocket, you can speed up only the entire universe.

mmaybe thats why stef will not make multiplayer.

Maybe the planets are in a different place on the players screen but when they are in the gravity field on other player screens no matter where the planet is it looks like there where the planet is

I really disagree with this because of the reasons lol it gave plus you could do a SpaceX reusable mission easier so I'm keen on a co-op option

I am really surprised because I thought it would be very one sided and that yes would totally win but it didn't totally win so I was proven wrong but yes is winning by one vote at this time so wow this came out very differently than I thought it would.

The world is full of surprises, eh ?

I think a multi-player feature would just encourage war based spaceships, which I'd vote against, even though I'd love to send my half complete Yamato Battleship (needs engines) against TtTOtW's Space Canon on a mission of peace (or is that pieces?)

Those are "escape pods", totally not bombs... Nothing to worry about...
