Here's my atlas entry, perhaps a little over-complicated, but it's functional.


~Stats~

Payload Mass - 703.09t (without drone), 713.68t (with drone)
Total Mass - 3059.18t

I didn't realize how much I've gotten accustomed to bp editing for the aesthetics, because that was visually irritating.
Also, the payload was a little nervous alone, so the drone is just there for moral support.

I don't see the problem, according to my standards this is a very good launcher.
My most beautiful launcher so far:

I've got to ask because I keep thinking about it, what made you want to angle the tanks and engines in parallel like that? It's such a unique solution to something I don't understand but I kinda like that part of it.

Oh, it was my entry for the reusability challenge: Reusable "rocket"

The interest of that configuration is that the engine would be protected during reentry, due to the shape of the stage:
