I've been increasingly getting worse at hitting to orbit, and now as I relearn I want to know the most efficient gravity curve; is it using the numbers found on mobile devices?

I usually follow the numbers until 45 deg. From that, I turn early so that the curve widens whilst keeping the apogee at 30km. But I need to be careful since the rocket will heat up quickly below 25km.
