Most people's first builds are bad. Nothing to worry about. You'll improve as you gain experience

Yes! That's true! My first DLC rocket was absolute trash! Just look at this abomination:

What makes me cringe the most is that back then I was looking at it and thinking "yeah that's a pretty decent rocket"
Also how I managed to not notice the misplaced aero cone is still a mystery

Saying that I sucked is an understatement. I legitimately thought that the optimal TWR is above 4 (moar is better, I thought TWR literally measures how good your rocket is), and I was frustrated that I couldn't get to the moon. I was proud of myself when I got the orbits of two of my satellites to intersect. My first space station was made with the dlc, it was single launch and with cheats. Yeah, before I found this forum I was absolute crap at this game.
