Forum Legend
Dear members,
After many years, it appeared clear that the forum was quite big and unnecessary confusing, in particular with many unused and/or redundant sections. This is why we have decided about a great overhaul of the whole forum. The purpose is to make it more concise, simple and intuitive.
The forum has been reorganized into 4 main sections as following:
The welcome section
This section contains everything you would wand to know at first, wether you're a newcomer or a regular member: general informations like forum news, the FAQ, the forum rules.
Special Divisions
The brand new Orbital Institute has its own section here.
This is also where all official challenges will be hosted in particular.
Spaceflight Simulator
The main section, that hosts all discussions directly related to the game. You will find there the usual sections (General discussions, challenges, help and support), but also the new tutorial section that you will be able to use normally now. The download section will centralize all the downloadable content in one place (blueprints, planet packs, mods).
The legacy division has also been made a subsection of this section, and was made read-only, for understandable reasons I think
Non-SFS
Apart from a few minor changes this one is similar to the section you already know. Nothing big here
Making new threads in the memes and comedy section in particular however, is now a privilege reserved for OI Recruits and up.
For better categorising, some sections now require a prefix and/or tags to be used when making a new thread.
Don't hesitate to share your thoughts. We are working hard to make everything as clear as possible, but obviously don't hesitate to point out anything that would be unclear to you, we will clarify everything as best we can.
Likewise, if you see any bugs (something missing, can't post or reply in some sections), let us know.
