I also like to just build something. It's very addicting. By the way, I advise you to use marble in tiles and doors) Well, jade for the walls

I tend to find my location choices are more granite than marble, and jade is a very rare resource for me to come across. I usually go with granite and slate for everything

By the way, try to build the base of your Aureum Empire and name the inhabitants with the nicknames of the players who are part of it. And I agree that jade is quite a rare material. I only had enough for part of the walls and that's it. I usually get it when I go on missions. If you're lucky, you can find an ancient danger besides jade.
