Hi guys,
Recently I spent quite a while trying to build a tank (the armored vehicle) in sfs. However, I ran into a problem with rover wheels that prevented the tank from moving on non-flat terrain with heavy loads. Solution? I used the same locomotion solution people in sfs used before rover wheels were a thing. This approach also has the advantage of being able to roll over pretty large obstacles. I present to you - the roly-poly tank, guaranteed to make you puke:
Rolling over:
Destroying another tank:
Rolling over the destroyed tank to assert dominance:
As you can see, it can roll over massive obstacles and traverse difficult terrain, which is it's main advantage.
Any feedback?
Thanks,
