Rotating a docking port

I want to make the Endurance from Interstellar again, but I wanted it to be modular, so that it is easier to build. Sadly, I have to rotate a dockibg port and this fecker can't stay attached to the ship.

Can anyone help ?

Don't bother with it. Rotated docking ports don't let you dock at the angle they are at, they act like they are at the normal 90° angle.

I saw other players rotate tons of docking ports, I need someone to do a single one.

You can rotate them, but I don't think the docking port will work like it is rotated. I may be wrong though.

Edit: if you send the BP maybe I could check it out.
