Rudolphus Series

I've been working on this shuttle for a few days, his name is Rudolphus-1.

Rudolphus-1 is launched by a side booster, and has little boosters to help it fly in the start.
Here it goes!

Mini-booster separation.

Side-booster separation (or Side-booster burning)

Orbit.

Rudolphus-1 can get payloads of 1 kiloton or lower into LEO. Currently, it's very innefficient, I want to improve that.
I aim for it to be able to go to orbit in the Hard mode, but that sure will take me a lot of time.
I'll make more shuttles of the Rudolphus series when this one is done.

Update-

Made the Side-booster larger and better.
Overhauled the Shuttle's engine area.

It's more efficient now, but has engine heating issues.

The engine area looks way-way cooler now.

I've done it, with many many modifications, and making the booster a whole lot larger.
1 kilotons of payload to LEO and return on Hard mode.

(idk what happened with the achievements tab)

Now, Its time to do some cool stuff with it!

Not bad! Reminds me distinctly of D2, the one in my pfp. Seriously I'm drowning in nostalgia. That landing, yup that's how they go down. Just beautiful, absolutely breathtaking those landings are. It's part of rhe reason I so fell in love with D2.

I made two versions of Rudolphus.
DarkBlast and Sasaki Haise (get the reference?)

Darkblast:

DarkBlast has reduced cargo capacity, but is more efficient. Made for exploration.
Reduced Capacity by: 57 to 49.5


Sasaki Haise:

I like Sasaki more, it's just beautiful.
More cargo capacity, reduced efficiency. Made for cargo transferring.
Cargo capacity increased by: 57 to 62.

Going to try make Rudolphus reusable. Was originally not going to reuse the booster but Blazer has challenged me to reuse the booster as well.

Okay lol, first try. Undershot the landing pad and some engines got burned during ascent.
(Keep in mind this is Terra, NOT Earth.)

Now to make it actually reusable.

Taking a break from making the reusablity mechanics, doing a Grand tour with Rudolphus.

No payload, just planet and moon flybys.

Refuel tanker launch.
