RESOURCES!
The Concept- All planets would have Resources, whether it would be in the ground (Moon, Mars, Mercury, etc.)
or in the air (Venus's atmosphere, Jupiter). We can scan the planets to see the Resources that is scattered around the planets.
We can also refuel our rockets with Resources, but we need to process it first in order for it to be useful. You can do this
process manually, but there could be modules called Processors that could automate it a lot faster. There would be a jet-black tank that can hold resources,
but not fuel. There would be small, medium, large, and giant drills and air scoops. Drills won't require a lot of energy, but processing would take a lot of energy.
Air scoops wouldn't require any energy, but it would be less productive and you would need to be in the atmosphere of a planet to receive resources.
This can be very useful for lunar base expansion, since we could establish giant mines and processors to generate lots of fuel for passing rockets. We could send
out larger and larger rockets utilizing Resources, because we could refuel in the process of going to the outer planets. You could also build giant stations above
Jupiter's atmosphere, using long trusses to reach into the atmosphere without the risk of losing your orbit. There is so much more you could do if we implemented
Resources into SFS as a mod or as an official release. You guys can go ahead and try to make this into the game, i don't know how to mod yet.
