Trying to reach moon

I'm trying to build a rocket to reach the moon, but I don't know what to do once I'm approaching the moon...
It is so fast I always crash... Any tips?

Well, your orbit will have to been inside the moons SOI, and above the surface aswell.

You have to lose speed to get an orbit around the Moon, then lose speed again to get out of orbit and land.
