With this Id recommend first of all not to stretch engines unless you've got the right ballast.
Mainly though regarding aesthetics , don't add shapes for the sake of adding shapes. Give them some meaning instead of just random things with no higher purpose than being things. Make them look organised , doesn't need to be bland shapes but it shouldn't be random either. Get that down and it'll look great.
