Actually I don't know if the achievements work for custom planet. It now depends on the translation file, in which the default planet have their own translation. I guess the game can't find the planet name in the translation file, so no achievements for those.

Did any achievement show ingame, when you landed a planet for example James?

Yes cuz there are not so many planets

Well, I you plan to do it single launch, then yes. But you could do smth like send a separate spaceship to every system, and just drop probes with parachutes (or a landing engine) and not recover them.

You can do what Marmilo says. Focus on one system at a time. You can either leave fuel reserves or landers in orbit around each body or assemble a large mothership.
