Actually the SFS update works a bit like a progression bar in Windows: it quickly raises to 99%.... and the remaining 1% lasts an eternity.
For now the 1.4 update is 99% finished :p

i cant tell if you really did NOT read my post at all or are just literally trolling me...
sorry but i consider this totally disrespectful to be honest, i literally pointed out the same thing that you just repeated in my post (rovers suck because torque and wheels turn on at the same time) and then you just call my solution to it (small torqueless probes) bad and just repeat what i said as your own point to imply that i didnt say it first as an argument for my solution, to make place for your solution. please read my post again.
i am not against the idea of making torque toggleable though since it is also a valid solution to the problem. still the probes are too large and space and weight consuming, a small probe maybe 2x2 or 2x1 or 1x1 without torque would definetly find a lot of use. i dont understand your problwm with having many parts either, as you say it "If you design a piece for each specific use, the risk is to end with a game that has tons of pieces" that is not a bad thing at all and you dont even believe in it yourself - you could be playing 1.1 right now with its 1 fueltank 1 capsule and 2 engines, why are you playing 1.35 if having many parts is a bad thing? having many parts with specific purposes is an important part of the game, it would allow us to specialise everything to our needs and having specialization would result in much more compact, lightweight, efficient and functional designs. its not confusing at all, you just pick the parts which you need.
Calm down okay, their isnt a need to be all serious about the game and that people might not be ass-ed or just dont have the time to read paragraffs.

To be more serious, the possibility to integrate small pieces like RCS into a fuel tank would be really cool to me.
For example, see that launcher:
Screenshot_20180720-222701_Spaceflight Simulator.jpg
I've put RCS on my main stage, as I want it to be maneuverable, but because of the boosters, they can't be covered with fairings. The problem is limited in this case (I'll "just" suffer from drag), but in some situations, this can seriously complicate your design, especially when you design a massive rocket, and each pixel counts, as the grid size is limited. So it would be cool to be able to integrate them into the fuel tank like this:
Screenshot_20180720-223007_Spaceflight Simulator.jpg
This would also allow to better mimic the real launchers, that don't have so prominent attitude control system.
This could also be done with landing legs, which would allow to reproduce the Falcon 9 (its landing legs are not apparent!) with more realism, or to design a Saturn 5 without having the LEM legs messing with the slick design of the rocket.
It could be made at the cost of a fuel penalty (as this takes place from the fuel tank) or something like that to compensate, so that it's not a no-brain choice.

Thanks Aiden. To be frank I don't think I misunderstood his point of view (even if that happens of course), we just don't see the problem and its solution in the same way.

@noire: If your reaction is because I didn't approve your probe idea, I didn't want to upset you. Remember I've also liked the reaction wheel idea after all (how could this be trolling?). As I said, I respect your idea, I'll never antagonize someone that proposes something to make the game better. Please, just allow me to have a different point of view, we are just here to discuss peacefully after all. Of course, you're also allowed to disagree with my ideas, as long as it's done respectfully. ;)

once again, it appears you misread my post again. so i will type the literally exact same thing again, which you apparently know how to do. what upsets me is that i wrote originally that i have a problem with rovers having torque, and then when you replied to me you just repeated the exact same thing which i stated in a way that shows that you absolutely didnt read that i said the exact same thing, which i consider disrespectful (replying before even reading.) i said the problem first and say my solution and then you go on to repeat the same thing

A pun about punning...puntastic!
Indeed :)
The funniest is that I didn't understand Strychnine's post at first because google translator didn't know "punny". I finally understood thanks to your message :p

We've (English speakers) so many ways to adjust words and still get meaning across that I, sometimes, forget that the whole world doesn't speak english.

That's fine, this allowed me to learn something ;)
And we also like punning in France, so I can understand.

Man, I didn't want to upset you in any manner! I DID read your post before replying, weren't we talking about the same thing? Even if I misread something or if I worded something in an inappropriate manner, that does not justify such a reaction, this could be solved in a more peaceful manner!
And for the third and last time, I accept that somebody disagrees or criticizes me, as long as it's done with a minimum of respect. I appreciated discussing with you until now, but if you continue that way, I'll just ignore you in the future. The choice is yours.

why not? whats bad about helping someone learning english? isnt this a good thing?
There's nothing wrong with pointing out errors. I just, personally, try not to do it. Mainly because I know a lot of people, at least here, are not native English speakers and rely on a translator. But also because I do a lot of writing and try to avoid critiquing others, unless they specifically ask for it.

@noire you're not far from a ban. You ha done nothing but be continuously disrespectful. @Altaïr is one of most chilled out people around here and it obviously takes a lot to piss him off. Yet you managed to do it. I didn't want to do this publicly but you leave me no choice.

what arw you even pissed of about? I wasnt even talking to you at all, this was merely a dispute between me and altair and if you are neither me nor altair you have no reason to feel whatever you feel about it
so do it and ban me right now, just to confirm my inner gut feeling that the moderation team might be a powertripping nepotistic conglomerate.
Man,he's only warning you, don't make it harder.
