It goes kinda fast off hills so I end up with those... It's surprising I have no lag as I have a potato PC...

Yeah, maybe it survived a 50m/s fall due to it going pretty fast horizontally. Also, the 50m/s was an estimate.

I used all my fuel while I was near the other rover, flying next to it.

Can't control the spin without changing wheel speed/direction. The buttons for spin and rover wheels are the same. I can't find a way to change that as I use PC.

Here's a similar version I threw together (in 1.35 PC), it uses solar panels for extra charge capacity (and armor?) and is a bit more receptice to getting rolled around. Notice the docking port on the right side for attaching to your lander. You could also add another docking port to the left side and make a crane type thing to land it...
