hey guys, after some long time of inactivity, i am back. this time to post all the pictures i've been taking during these days. enjoy!

that one above is a horrible one... i know... but the lightning was good i guess....

i just took a picture of my own iris with the nikon d5200 using my phone's flashlight and a bunch of tripods

Some location shots from trips in 2019, taken either on my tablet, the missus' iPhone or my bombproof Nikon AW100.

A random beach in Cyprus

On the main road up to Inverness just before you enter the Highlands

Later that night at Dunnet Head, the most northern part of the mainland

And the surrounding area the next morning.

The most nil fucks stag in Scotland. Even after we spotted it, stopped, reversed to illuminate it with the spotlights on the Delica it didn't even bother looking at us.

A random Loch

Probably one of the best views at a garage I've seen anywhere. And the sign isn't kidding, it's literally wilderness for a hundred miles in either/any direction.

Spotted Mordor (I'm kidding) on the drive south to Ben/Loch Lomond

Water so smooth it looks like an enormous kaleidoscope

On the way down from the summit of Ben Lomond. Would have taken one from the top, but the weather was a bit tasty and vis almost non-existent.

At the Loch 3 hours later.

The NC 500 (the route I roughly followed) I'd recommend to anyone that enjoys road trips. Scotland is very open to just staying/going wherever you like (more so than the rest of the UK) and the top half of the country is just epic for views like that.

It's just an utter turd of a drive from Wales. Nearly 2/3rds of the mileage I did was just getting to the start line and back again.

same thing can be said about you. not so expensive setup and yet amazing pictures. everything you need to have awesome pictures is a good subject, effort and patience. and you seem to have all three! amazing!
